DumaHero collects the information necessary to provide and improve our services. This includes your name, email address, phone number, delivery addresses, and usage activity. For riders and business partners, we may also collect verification details such as government-issued ID, driver’s license, vehicle information, and business documents.
2. Google Sign-In
DumaHero offers Google Sign-In as a convenient authentication option. When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile information (such as your name and email address) as authorized by you. We use this information solely to create and manage your DumaHero account. We do not use your Google data for any purpose beyond account authentication and profile setup, and we never post on your behalf.
3. Location Permissions
To provide accurate rides and deliveries, DumaHero requests access to your device location. Location data is used to set pickup and drop-off points, calculate fares and distances, match you with nearby riders, and enable real-time tracking. Riders may share their live location with clients during an active booking. You may revoke location permission at any time through your device settings.
4. Camera Permissions
DumaHero may request camera access so you can upload photos such as profile images, rider verification documents, delivery proof photos, payment receipts, and business logos. Camera access is only used within the app for these purposes and can be revoked at any time.
5. Notifications
We send notifications to keep you informed about booking updates, rider assignments, delivery status, payment confirmations, account changes, and important announcements. You can manage notification preferences through your device settings at any time.
6. Payment Information
DumaHero supports cash on delivery, Maya, and PalawanPay. We do not store full card or banking credentials on our servers. Payment receipts and references you submit (such as platform fee proofs) are stored to verify transactions and maintain accountability records.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information using secure storage, access controls, and encryption in transit. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems. Rider and business partner verification documents are handled with care to prevent unauthorized disclosure.
8. User Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or update your personal information within the app. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data. To exercise these rights, use the in-app account tools or contact us at the email below.
9. Account Deletion
You can delete your DumaHero account at any time from the Profile page within the app. Account deletion removes your personal information and deactivates your profile. Certain records (such as completed transactions and accountability logs) may be retained where required for legitimate business, legal, or safety purposes.
